In this guide we will show you how to disassemble the Asus G74Sx notebook.
You can use this to repair or modify Asus G74Sx laptop. Though this disassembly guide is
not fully complete we are here to help.

Summary

Remove Memory Module

Loosen 1 screw on the main door and take the door away

Loosen one screw on the main door and remove it.

Remove Hard Disk Drives (HDDs)

Remove 8 screws on two HDDs

Remove eight screws securing the two hard disk drives.

Disconnect the HDD board cable

Disconnect the cable connecting the HDD board.

Disconnect Cables and Remove Bottom Case

Remove 27 screws on the bottom case

Remove the 27 screws securing the bottom case of the laptop.

Remove Main Board

Carefully take the main board away

Carefully lift and remove the main board from the chassis.
