3.7 Power menu
The Power menu items allow you to change the settings for the Advanced Power
Management (APM). Select an item then press <Enter> to display the conguration options.
3.7.1 Suspend Mode [Auto]
Allows you to select the Advanced Conguration and Power Interface (ACPI) state to be used
for system suspend.
[Auto] The system automatically congures the ACPI suspend mode.
[S1 (POS) only] Sets the APCI suspend mode to S1/POS (Power On Suspend).
[S3 only] Sets the APCI suspend mode to S3/STR (Suspend To RAM).
3.7.2 Repost Video on S3 Resume [No]
Determines whether to invoke VGA BIOS POST on S3/STR resume.
[No] When set to [No], the system will not invoke VGA BIOS POST on S3/STR
resume.
[Yes] When set to [Yes], the system invokes VGA BIOS POST on S3/STR
resume.
3.7.3 ACPI 2.0 Support [Disabled]
[Disabled] When set to [Disabled], the system will not add additional tables as per
ACPI 2.0 specications.
[Enabled] When set to [Enabled], the system adds additional tables as per ACPI 2.0
specications.
3.7.4 ACPI APIC Support [Enabled]
[Disabled] When set to [Disabled], the system disable the Advanced Conguration and
Power Interface (ACPI) support in the Advanced Programmable Interrupt
Controller (APIC).
[Enabled] When set to [Enabled], the ACPI APIC table pointer is included in the RSDT
pointer list.
