ThisjumperallowsyoutocleartheCMOSRTCRAMdataofthesystemsetup
informationsuchasdate,time,andsystempasswords.
ToerasetheRTCRAM:
1. TurnOFFthecomputerandunplugthepowercord.
2. Useametalobjectsuchasascrewdrivertoshortthetwopins.
3. PlugthepowercordandturnONthecomputer.
4. Holddownthe<Del>keyduringthebootprocessandenterBIOSsetuptore-enter
data.

CLRTCjumper.Placingametalobjectorjumpercapwillcausesystembootfailure!
• Ifthestepsabovedonothelp,removetheonboardbatteryandplaceametalobject
orjumpercapagaintocleartheCMOSRTCRAMdata.AftertheCMOSclearance,
reinstallthebattery.
• YoudonotneedtocleartheRTCwhenthesystemhangsduetooverclocking.For
systemfailureduetooverclocking,usetheC.P.R.(CPUParameterRecall)feature.
ShutdownandrebootthesystemsotheBIOScanautomaticallyresetparameter
settingstodefaultvalues.
• Duetothechipsetbehavior,ACpoweroffisrequiredtoenableC.P.R.function.You
mustturnoffandturnonthepowersupplyorunplugandplugthepowercordbefore
rebootingthesystem.
