Find three ZenWiFi XD5, and power them on.

Use a network cable to connect your modem to the WAN port of one ZenWiFi XD5. This ZenWiFi XD5 will
be the AiMesh router, and the other two ZenWiFi XD5 will be the AiMesh nodes.

The LED turns solid blue to indicate that ZenWiFi XD5 is ready for setup.

Download free ASUS Router APP to set up
and manage your router(s).
Prepare

Place your ZenWiFi XD5 router and nodes within 3 meters of
each other during the setup process.

Keep your AiMesh nodes powered on and standby for AiMesh
system settings.
Launch ASUS Router APP, and then follow the on-screen
instructions to finish the AiMesh setup.

If your AiMesh router cannot find any AiMesh nodes nearby or
synchronization fails, please check the following and try again.

Move your AiMesh nodes closer to the AiMesh router ideally. Ensure that it is within 3 meters.

Your AiMesh nodes are powered on.
