Call block settings
Save a caller ID log entry to star name list:
Using a cordless handset or the telephone base:
1. Select a desired entry in the caller ID log (see Review the
caller ID log on page 100).
2. When the desired entry appears, press SAVE.
3. Press
CID or
DIR on the handset, or press qCALLER ID
or pDIRECTORY on the telephone base to highlight Star
name list, and then press SELECT. The screen displays
Star this name? and then the caller’s name.
4. Press SELECT to conrm. The screen shows Saved to
star name list.
Edit a star name entry:
Using a cordless handset:
1. Search for the desired entry in the block list (see Review star name list on
page 130).
2. When the desired entry displays, press EDIT. The screen
displays Edit name along with the name to be edited.
3. To edit the name:
f Use the dialing keys to enter characters.
f Press
CID or
DIR to move the cursor to the le or right.
f Press 0 to add a space.
f Press MUTE/DELETE to erase a character.
f Press and hold MUTE/DELETE to erase all characters.
f Press TONE to change the next letter to upper or lower
case.
4. Press SAVE to conrm. The screen shows Saved to star name list.
Using the telephone base:
1. Search for the desired entry in the block list (see
Review star name list on page 130).
2. When the desired entry displays, press EDIT. The screen
displays EDIT NAME along with the name to be edited.
