Caller ID Operation
There are also occasions when other information or no
information is displayed for various reasons:
On-Screen Message Reason
PRIVATE NAME Caller prefers to remain anonymous.
PRIVATE CALLER Caller's name and telephone number are
not revealed at caller's request.
UNKNOWN NAME Your local telephone company is unable to
determine the caller's name.
UNKNOWN CALLER Your local telephone company is unable to
determine the caller's name and telephone
number. Long-distance calls from over-
seas also generate this message.
Contrast Adjustment (telephone base only)
There are four levels of contrast on the screen of the
telephone base which can be adjusted to suit different
viewing angles for both desktop use or wall-mounting.
Press CONTRAST on the telephone base to adjust the
contrast on the screen.
