The ISDN 8510T Voice Terminal Firmware
If it becomes necessary to update the firmware cartridge in the bottom of
the 8510T voice terminal, use the following procedures.
Removing the Voice Terminal from Operation
If the voice terminal is in operation, you must disconnect the line and
adjunct cords before you can change the EPROM board. See Figure 1
for the location of the jacks, cords and routing channels.
1 Pick up the handset (you can leave it connected to the voice
terminal) and lay it aside.
2 Turn the voice terminal over and disconnect the line cord from the
Line jack and the cord of any adjunct equipment from the Adjunct
jack. You can leave the cables in the routing channels.
