Now use the CONTROL key with the LEFT
ARROW key to move the cursor off the left edge
(something
you could not do before).
SCREEN 9
For vertical movement, use the CONTROL key
with the UP and DOWN ARROW keys. Press the
CONTROL key and the DOWN ARROW key to
move the cursor down toward the bottom of
the screen.
SCREEN 10
Now move the cursor down past the bottom.
What happens? It does not make the screen
scroll. Instead, the cursor wraps around and
reappears at the
top .
SCREEN 11
Now use CONTROL and the UP ARROW key to
try moving the cursor off the top . Thismakes it
come back at the bottom.

With the ARROW keys (activated by the CON -
TROL key), you can move the cursor wherever
you want it on the screen. And wherever the
cursor
is, that's where characters appear when
you type on the keyboard.
