In addition to the basic components of your
Atari-the computer itself and a TV set-
there are many computer accessories that you
can purchase. These accessories, known as pe-
ripherals,
allow you to use your computer for a

have a printed copy (known as a hard copy) of a
letter
or report you have created, you'll need a
printer
to go with your computer There also is a
peripheral
that allows you to communicate with
other computers in other locations throughout
the country. This peripheral is known as a
modem.
