INSERTING THE BASIC CARTRIDGE
If you are using the BASIC cartridge to do the
keyboard exercises, insert the
BASIC cartridge
now.
,Be sure that your computer is turned OFF.
Then insert the BASIC cartridge in the cartridge
slot.
IF YOU HAVE AN 800 MODEL (which has
two cartridge slots), the BASIC cartridge goes in
the
LEFT cartridge slot.
TO BEGIN TYPING
To turn the computer on, flip the power switch
to the ON position. If you are using a color TV,
the screen will be blue. A red light will glow on
the keyboard.
You're ready to begin the exer-
cises.
