• The same result can be obtained by pressing the add button in the CAN PORT GET column
The Channel Calibration window will appear.
The following properties can be set in this window:
• ID (hex): defines the message identifier (ID) expressed in hexadecimal format. NOTE: the
number ID can be entered with or without the prefix 0x, it is not relevant.
• ID Type: defines the type of identifier: standard (ID length 11 bits) or extended (length length
of the ID up to 29 bits).
NOTE: normally the ID below 0x7FF are standard, but they could also be extended.
• Name: defines the name of the channel (e.g. IDX_LIMIT).
• Start bit: this parameter defines the position (in the ID CAN message) that contains the first
bit of data to be associated to the channel.
• Length: defines the length of a CAN channel bit.
NOTE: this parameter also defines if the channel is signed or unsigned, see below:
