Applications
The SD72 is an aggressively priced quality
speaker/baffle/transformer package suitable for most any pag-
ing or background application including retail stores, restau-
rants, schools and other institutional facilities.
General Description
The speaker used in the SD72 is the next generation of Atlas
high performance cone loudspeakers, very similar to the pre-
ceding C Series speakers. The similarity in the sonic qualities
ensures that contractors and designers who have worked with
the Atlas Sound C Series in the past will know exactly what to
expect when they purchase the SD72.
Three Model Options Are Offered
Model SD72 includes a 10oz magnet dual cone
loudspeaker with a factory assembled 25V/70.7V 5-watt dual
voltage transformer.
Model SD72W includes the SD72 fully assembled onto an
attractive CRS white powder coated baffle*. This baffle includes
welded speaker mounting studs making for a more discrete
installed appearance.
Model SD72WV is identical to the SD72W with the addition of a
50 Ohm baffle mounted potentiometer for applications requiring
local volume control. Knob may be removed to allow screwdriv-
er adjustment.

*Baffle matches Atlas Sound model 62-8 dimensions and includes mounting screws.
All models feature standard mounting holes to accommodate the
majority of Atlas Sound 8" back cans, trim rings and tile bridges.
All mounting screws are included in the package.
Each SD72 product is individually packaged for stocking and delivery
convenience.
