Firmware Update
To use the ZATO CONNECT, ensure you have the latest
rmware installed.
Visit atomos.com/support to download the latest rmware for
your device.
Power up
The ZATO CONNECT can be powered by supported USB-C
power devices or you can use NP-F / L-Series type batteries.
You can also use the optional Battery Eliminator (ATOMDCA001)
and Atomos DC Power Supply (ATOMPWR012).
USB-C power
The included USB-C cable supports USB PD power and can
be used with existing USB-C Power Supplies that you may
already own from other electronic devices like Smartphones,
Tablets, Mobile Game Consoles, etc. The minimum required
wattage for power supplies is 20W. Connect the other end of
the USB-C cable to the USB-C PD port.
Battery (Optional ATOMBAT003)
To connect a compatible battery, place the battery in front
of the retaining lug, align with the connectors and slide the
battery into the slot until it clicks into place.
Ensure NP-F / L-Series type batteries.
Tapping the battery icon in the top right of your ZATO
CONNECT screen will allow you to accurately see remaining
battery life. Refer to the ZATO CONNECT User Manual for
more information.
Important
Take care not obstruct the device ventilation at the top / bottom
of the ZATO CONNECT unit, as shown on following page.
