Construction:
The sender construction and the PIN designa-
tion are the same as those of the allroad quat-
tro (description in SSP no. 243).
The four senders are interchangeable, but the
brackets and coupling rods must be fitted to
the correct side and axle.

Vehicle level senders G76, G77, G78, G289
Function:
The senders record the distance between the
links and the body, and thus the level of the
vehicle. The sensing function is now effected
with 800 Hz (200 Hz in the allroad). This scan-
ning frequency is sufficient to determine the
acceleration of the unsprung masses.

Installing the geometrically identical sender of the allroad quattro in the A8 leads to sys-
tem failure and is not permitted.
