When connected to Apple CarPlay® or Android Auto™, the display switches to the mobile device operating system. Icons can be moved by pressing and holding, then dragging. Swiping left or right switches between menu pages, and pressing the Home button returns to the Home screen. Quick Access allows users to return to the Home screen or quickly switch between four selected menus. The Status Display shows information like connected mobile devices, data connection, and Bluetooth® activation. The Notification Center can be accessed by pulling the status bar downward or pressing the notification icon, displaying status information and notifications. Connected devices, personal profiles, date and time, and other content can be managed here. Notifications can be deleted by pressing and dragging to the right edge. The Automatic Climate Control system allows users to set preferences for temperature, airflow distribution, and recirculation. It can operate in AUTO or manual mode. When HI or LO are selected, the system runs continuously, heating or cooling with the blower in AUTO mode. Seat heating is activated by pressing the seat heating button, with LEDs indicating the temperature level (up to level 3). Pressing the button repeatedly reduces the temperature or turns it off. Air distribution can be directed to defrost, panel, and floor vents or a combination. The Defrost function clears frost or condensation from the windshield and side windows. Recirculation prevents outside air and odors from entering the cabin and can cool the cabin more quickly, but should not be used for extended periods. The Rear Defogger clears condensation from the rear window and automatically turns off after 10 to 20 minutes. The climate control system can be turned off by pressing the Fan button.
