These specifications cover the digital input and output functions of the Audio Precision DIO.
The DIO is available as a stand-alone module (models 240).
The APx DIO provides balanced digital input and output compatible with AES3, AES/EBU
and IEC60958-4, on XLR connectors; unbalanced digital input and output compatible with
S/PDIF and IEC60958-3 and also AES3id and SMPTE 276 M, on BNC connectors; and opti-
cal digital input and output compatible with Toslink interfaces.
