is an excellent alternative to hardwoods and th e darker
bamboo used for the Audioengine AS+N ca binets is n ot a stain,

ut achieved through a specialized heati ng process. As the woo d
is pressure heated, the sugar compo unds inside the bamb oo are
"carbonized" which
in turn darkens the bamboo to a rich caramel
color.

bamboo and finished with water-based satin polyurethane.
