A socket should be placed in a moisture-free place, at least 2 meters
from the water's edge (fig. 1 and 2 - pages 3 and 4).
Before putting the pressure filter into operation, check the power cord,
plug and pressure filter for damage.
Important: If the power cord, plug or pressure filter is damaged, it
should no longer be used. Return to the dealer to have the damage
assessed.
Never move or hang the pressure filter by the power cord.
Keep the plug free of moisture. To prevent water from running through
the cord to the plug, form a loop (Fig. 4 - page 4).
When working on the pressure filter, always unplug the pressure filter
and the pump connected to the pressure filter so that the power supply
to the pressure filter and pump is disconnected.
The UV-C lamp of the pressure filter should only be switched on when it
is completely filled with water and there is sufficient water flow through
the pressure filter.
Important: If persons are in the water, the pressure filter must not be
switched on.
Do not immerse the pressure filter in water, the pressure filter should
only be set up outside the water.
The pressure filter has protection class IP67, maximum protection
against moisture.
Do not set up the pressure filter in direct sunlight, ensure good
ventilation around the pressure filter cover.
The maximum pressure the pressure filter can withstand is 0.3 Bar.
Prevent overpressure by using the correct sized pump, not having to
long or to small diameter hose or pipes, to much backpressure after the
pressure filter and always clean the filter regularly.
Make sure that the water can always flow through in the pressure filter,
never close all outputs of the pressure filter before the pump is turned
off.
Make sure that the discharge hoses and the pressure filter are not
clogged, which could cause the pressure in the filter to rise.
The maximum head after the pressure filter should not exceed 1m. (Fig.
2 - page 4).
The pressure filter is only suitable for fresh water, without chemical
additives and with a min. temperature of min. 4°C and a max.
temperature of 35°C.
Place the pressure filter on a solid and level surface.
The pressure filters can be partially buried, up to the pressure filter
cover. Please note that for service and maintenance purposes the
pressure filter can be easily reached and taken out.
If there is any chance of the water in the pressure filter freezing, turn it
off and remove the water. Store the pressure filter frost-free or prevent
it from filling with water.
Pressure filter operation (fig. 3, 6, 7A and 7B - pages 4 to 7)
The pressure filter with integrated UV-C unit is a closed filter system for
mechanical and biological filtration of the water in the pond.
