Usage Features

  • Towing Compatibility: Requires a tow vehicle rated for the caravan's Gross Vehicle Weight (GVM) and a suitable hitch. The manual emphasizes checking tow vehicle manufacturer specifications for Aggregate Trailer Mass (ATM) and Gross Combination Mass (GCM).
  • Loading: Proper weight distribution is crucial, with an optimum ball weight of 9-11% of the total caravan weight. Heavy items should be loaded over or close to the axle and as low as possible. Overhead cupboards are for lightweight items.
  • Braking System: Fitted with electric brakes and a "Breakaway System" requiring a maintenance charge from the tow vehicle via an Anderson plug.
  • Jacking Points: Purpose-built jacking points are provided for safe lifting.
  • Electrical System: Features a 240V electrical system certified by a trade-qualified person, including an RCD safety device. It requires a 15amp lead for mains power connection. A main electrical panel monitors water levels, battery level, voltage, and current draw, with switches for various circuits (power, fridge, socket, lamp, pump).
  • Charging: Can be charged via mains power using the Projecta Enerdrive EN31240 multistage charger, solar panels through the Enerdrive EN3DC40+ DC to DC controller, or the tow vehicle via an Anderson plug and Enerdrive EN3DC40+ DC to DC controller.
  • Gas System: Approved and certified gas installation. Users must follow safety instructions, including checking for leaks with soapy water, closing cylinder valves when not in use or refueling, and ensuring proper ventilation.
  • Hot Water System: Truma UltraRapid Boiler (gas + electric) requires external flue covers to be removed before operation. Users must fill the system with water before switching on and drain it if there is a risk of frost.
  • Kitchen: Slide-out kitchen with a 4-burner stove and sink. Requires the annex to be fully erected when in use to ensure safety and proper operation.
  • Awning: Electric awning that needs to be supported when extending. It should be lowered on one side during rain to prevent water pooling and retracted completely in strong winds. Sail track inserts are available for guy ropes.
  • Stabiliser Legs: Heavy-duty lockable and adjustable drop-down legs for stabilizing the caravan when set up. Not designed for jacking the trailer.
  • Jockey Wheel: ARK XO 10" swing-up and lockable jockey wheel.
  • Off-Road Driving: Emphasizes lowering tyre pressures for sand and corrugated roads, reducing speed, and taking regular breaks to prevent driver fatigue and component overheating.
  • Anti-Theft Devices: Recommendation to use theft protection devices for insurance benefits.

Maintenance Features
