Built-in Smart Flight System
The X-Star/X-Star Premium features a built-in smart ight system which
provides stable and user-friendly ight control. The system consists of various
sensors such as the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) receiver, the
Compass, the Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) and barometer. It works as the
central computer of the aircraft and supports various functions, such as Intelligent
Orientation Control (IOC), Go Home, Failsafe, Starpoint

Positioning System, etc.
Smart Flight System Modules
Module Description
IMU
An electronic device consisting of a 3-axis gyroscope and a 3-axis
accelerometer that measure the acceleration and angular rates of
the aircraft. An automatic IMU calibration is performed every time you
start the aircraft.
Compass
Measures geomagnetic eld and provides heading reference for the
aircraft.
GNSS
Receiver
Receives GNSS (GPS/GLONASS) signals to determine the latitude,
longitude and altitude of the aircraft.
