Why is my Avallon APAC140HC Air Conditioner not cooling?
    • K
      Kimberly LoveAug 15, 2025
If your Avallon air conditioner isn't cooling at all, make sure it's in cooling mode and the set temperature is lower. The compressor might take up to 3 minutes to turn on, or longer if it's too warm. Ensure the room temperature is below 90°F. Also, check and clean the filter and remove any blockages from the exhaust port.

      Aaron EdwardsAug 18, 2025
If your Avallon air conditioner blows cold air but doesn't lower the room temperature, ensure the unit is vented and minimize the area to be cooled. Close any open doors and windows, and remove or shut off additional heat sources. Make sure that the room is properly insulated and the room temperature is below 90°F. Minimize direct sunlight entering the room by closing curtains or blinds. Clean the filter, vacuum the condenser coils, and remove any obstructions from the air intake or exhaust ports.
