Why is the cabinet temperature too warm in my Avantco Equipment Refrigerator?

  If the Avantco Equipment Refrigerator's cabinet temperature is too warm, there might be several reasons: * The thermostat may be set too warm; in this case, set the thermostat to a lower temperature. * Airflow could be blocked; re-arrange the product to allow proper airflow, ensuring at least four inches of clearance from the evaporator. * An excessive amount of warm product may have been placed in the cabinet; allow adequate time for the product to cool down. * A fuse may be blown, or the circuit breaker tripped; replace the fuse or reset the circuit breaker. * The condenser coil might be dirty; clean the condenser coil. * The evaporator coil may be iced over; ensure doors are closed when not in use and avoid opening doors for long periods.

Why is my Avantco Equipment 178PICL1's condensing unit running for long periods of time?

  If the condensing units in your Avantco Equipment Refrigerator are running for long periods of time, it could be due to several factors: 1. An excessive amount of warm product may have been placed in the cabinet; allow adequate time for the product to cool down. 2. Prolonged door opening or the door being ajar; ensure doors are closed when not in use and avoid opening doors for long periods of time. 3. Door gaskets not sealing properly; ensure gaskets are snapped in completely, remove the gasket and wash it with soap and water, and replace if necessary. 4. A dirty condenser coil; clean the condenser coil. 5. The evaporator coil iced over; unplug the unit and allow the coil to defrost, make sure the thermostat is not set too cold, and ensure that door gaskets are sealing properly.
