Scanner alarm state
The control panel is equipped with a special circuit that can detect all attempts at tampering carried out
by means of a scanner. If an attempt to reconstruct the code transmitted by the remote control is detected
or a fixed carrier is transmitted, the circuit signals an alarm.
The state of scanner alarm is indicated, when the control panel is ON, by the high-intensity level inner
buzzer switching ON for 15 s and by the SCANNER LED. When the control panel is OFF only by the
SCANNER LED.
It is possible to exclude this function removing the jumper JP1 (see picture 1).
NOTE: the tampering and the 24h alarms can be interrupted and/or disconnected by turning the mecha-
nical key to PROGRAMMING or by pressing the GREEN push-button of the AF939R remote control (in
this case, there is no self-cutting out after 3 alarms).
Alarm due to supervision (detector out of order)
The detectors transmit the control panel periodically the so called ”presence signal”. The control panel
checks, every 3 hours and 50 minutes, if all the detectors have transmitted the presence signal. If a
detector didn’t transmit the presence signal the control panel starts the supervision alarm cycle, in the
following way:
NOTE: the control panel accepts non supervised detectors (first generation) as well.
Signal of low battery
The state of the battery which needs to be repaired and/or replaced is indicated by the control panel one
month before its complete discharge, as follows:
Alarm due to low detector (AF913R, AF913R-M, AF968R) battery
Low detector battery condition is reported on the control panel, during connection and during disconnec-
tion in the following way:
• Led of the zone
• Low level sound for 15 s.
