This document describes the M600 Fingerprint Door Lock, a smart lock offering multiple unlocking methods and various operational settings for enhanced security and convenience.

Function Description

The M600 Fingerprint Door Lock provides a secure and versatile access solution for doors. It supports four primary unlocking methods: fingerprint, password, RF card, and mechanical keys for emergency access. The lock allows for the registration of master users and normal users, each with specific access privileges and management capabilities. It also includes features such as random password protection, double unlocking mode, passage mode, and sound volume settings. The device can be reset to factory default settings if needed.

Important Technical Specifications

  • Unlocking Methods:
    • Fingerprint Unlocking: Supports up to 100 users.
    • Password Unlocking: Supports up to 50 users. Passwords can be 6 to 10 digits long, using combinations of 0 to 9.
    • RF Card Unlocking: Supports up to 200 users.
    • Mechanical Keys: Provided for emergency access.
  • Default Master Password: "01234-56789". This password is replaced once a new master user is registered and cannot be used thereafter.
  • Date and Time Format:
    • Year, Month, Day: 2 digits each (e.g., 2019 becomes 19, March becomes 03, 1st day becomes 01).
    • Time: 24-hour format (e.g., 2:00 PM becomes 14:00).
  • Power Source: Requires 4 x 1.5V batteries.

Usage Features

  • Register Master User:
    1. Activate the lock.
    2. Input "0" and "#".
    3. Input the default master password and press "#" to confirm.
    4. Input "1" for master user setting.
    5. Input "1" to add a master user.
    6. For fingerprint master user: Place a finger on the sensor 3 times to register.
    7. For password master user: Input the password and press "#" to confirm (2 times).
    8. For card master user: Place the card on the card reader to register.
    • Important Note: The default master password "01234-56789" will be replaced once a new master user is registered. Passwords must be 6 to 10 digits.
  • Register Normal User:
    1. Activate the lock.
    2. Input "0" and "#".
    3. Input the master user for authorization.
    4. Input "2" for normal user setting.
    5. Input "1" to add a normal user.
    6. For fingerprint normal user: Place a finger on the sensor 3 times to register.
    7. For password normal user: Input the password and press "#" to confirm (2 times).
    8. For card normal user: Place the card on the card reader to register.
    • Important Note: Passwords must be 6 to 10 digits.
  • Modify Master Password User:
    1. Activate the lock.
    2. Input "0" and "#".
    3. Input the master user for authorization.
    4. Input "1" for master user setting.
    5. Input "2" to modify master user.
    6. Input the new password and confirm with "#".
    7. Input the new password and confirm with "#" again to finish.
  • Modify Normal Password User:
    1. Activate the lock.
    2. Input "0" and "#".
    3. Input the master user for authorization.
    4. Input "2" for normal user setting.
    5. Input "2" to modify normal user.
    6. Input the new password and confirm with "#".
    7. Input the new password and confirm with "#" again to finish.
  • Delete Master Users:
    1. Activate the lock.
    2. Input "0" and "#".
    3. Input the master user for authorization.
    4. Input "1" for master user setting.
    5. Input "3" to delete master user.
    6. Input the ID number and press "#" to confirm deletion.
  • Delete Normal Users:
    1. Activate the lock.
    2. Input "0" and "#".
    3. Input the master user for authorization.
    4. Input "2" for normal user setting.
    5. Input "3" to delete normal user.
    6. Input the ID number and press "#" to confirm deletion.
  • Date and Time Setting:
    1. Activate the lock.
    2. Input "0" and "#".
    3. Input the master user for authorization.
    4. Input "4" for system setting.
    5. Input "1" for date and time setting.
    6. Input the date and time in YY-MM-DD HH-MM format.
    • Important Note: Date digits are 2 digits for year, month, and day. Time is in 24-hour format.
  • Sound Volume Setting:
    1. Activate the lock.
    2. Input "0" and "#".
    3. Input the master user for authorization.
    4. Input "4" for system setting.
    5. Input "2" for sound volume setting.
    6. Use "1" to turn down the volume, "3" to turn up the volume, and press "#" to confirm.
  • Random Password Protection: This feature enhances security by allowing users to input random numbers before and after the real password. The full correct password must still be entered during the sequence.
    1. Activate the lock.
    2. Input "0" and "#".
    3. Input the master user for authorization.
    4. Input "4" for system setting.
    5. Input "4" for random password protect.
    6. Input "2" to enable and confirm with "#".
    7. Input "1" to disable and confirm with "#".
    • Important Note: This protection is enabled by factory default.
  • Unlocking Mode Setting (Double Unlocking Mode): This mode requires two registered users to unlock the door, providing higher security.
    1. Activate the lock.
    2. Input "0" and "#".
    3. Input the master user for authorization.
    4. Input "4" for system setting.
    5. Input "3" for double unlocking mode.
    6. Input "2" to enable and confirm with "#".
    7. Input "1" to disable and confirm with "#".
  • Passage Mode Setting: When activated, this mode allows people to unlock the door without requiring identifications, suitable for frequent access.
    • Enable: Use the master user to unlock, then input "2" and "8" to activate passage mode.
    • Disable: Use any registered user to unlock; this will automatically cancel the passage mode.

Maintenance Features

  • Installation:
    1. Mark holes on the door using the template and drill.
    2. Install the mortise, strike box, and strike, fastening with screws.
    3. Install the spindle and connection rods on the front panel, ensuring correct orientation for left or right handles (L mark for left, R mark for right).
    4. Install the front panel on the door.
    5. Install batteries into the battery case.
    6. Install the back panel and fasten with screws. Test the installation.
  • Reset to Factory Default:
    1. Activate the lock.
    2. Input "0" and "#".
    3. Input the master user for authorization.
    4. Input "4" for system setting.
    5. Input "5" to reset the lock.
    6. Input "1" to confirm, and the lock will begin the reset process.
    • Important Note: Ensure the lock has enough power before operation. After resetting, register the master user as soon as possible.
  • General Maintenance:
    • It is suggested to make a record list for user IDs to manage them better.
    • Always try to use registered users to unlock and confirm successful registration after any registration process.
    • Please update the time to the current time before use.
