Why after controller powers on, one or more axes move only one direction on my Axiom Industrial Equipment?
    • M
      Margaret BellSep 23, 2025
If, after the controller powers on, one or more axes move only in one direction, it is due to an improper connection between the DSP board and the motor drive. Inspect the connections.

What to do if my Axiom Industrial Equipment motor stalls and blows fuses?
    • A
      Andrew OwensAug 23, 2025
If your motor stalls, resulting in blown fuses or a tripped circuit, here's what you can do: * The motor may be overloaded. Reduce the load on the motor. * There could be a short circuit in the motor or loose connections. Inspect the connections on the motor for loose or shorted terminals or worn insulation. * The voltage might be low. Correct any low voltage conditions. * The fuses or circuit breakers in the power line could be incorrect. Install the correct fuses or circuit breakers.

What to do if Axiom Industrial Equipment controller keeps restarting automatically?
    • P
      Patrick WilsonAug 28, 2025
If the controller keeps restarting automatically, it could be due to: * An insufficient power supply. Have a qualified electrician check the incoming power supply. * An unstable local power grid. Contact the power company. * A damaged controller. Connect the controller to a computer via USB cable. If the problem persists, replace the controller.

    Kathleen RodgersSep 18, 2025
Why can't I set work origin on the controller of my Axiom Industrial Equipment?
    • J
      Joan SantosSep 18, 2025
If you cannot set the work origin on the controller: * You may be in Machine Coordinate State. Press MENU + 1 to revert to the first working coordinate system. * The buttons may not be functioning. Enter MENU/System Setup/Buttons Check to verify function. If buttons are not working, replace the controller.

    Randall MillerSep 15, 2025
Why is the Z-axis depth not consistent on my Axiom AR8 ELITE Industrial Equipment?
    • K
      Kristen ChristensenSep 15, 2025
If the Z-axis depth is not consistent each time the same file is processed and after the machine homes, it could be due to: * The spoil board or material not being flat. Re-mill (surface) the spoil board/material. * The workpiece not having a consistent thickness. Check consistency. * Interference in the Z-axis HOME process creating a false origin. Re-HOME the Z-axis and check for proper operation.
  • C
    Cynthia FrancisSep 16, 2025
Why does my Axiom Industrial Equipment processed workpiece not match file size?
    • C
      Casey OconnellSep 17, 2025
If the processed workpiece does not match the file size, it could be because: * The pulse equivalent is incorrect. Adjust the pulse under: MENU/Machine Setup. * An incorrect post processor was used. Verify that the correct post processor was used. * The wrong cutting tool was used. Use the proper tool for the process.
  • M
    Martha Mccoy MDSep 6, 2025
Why is my Axiom AR8 ELITE controller display blank or flickering?
    • K
      Kaitlin AndersonSep 6, 2025
A blank or flickering controller display might be due to: * Cable connections not being tight. Inspect and tighten the connections between the pendant and the control box. * A loose 24V connection to the control board. Check the 24V connection to the DSP control board in the control box. * A damaged interface. Replace the damaged part. * A damaged controller. Replace the controller.

    James LevySep 3, 2025
What to do if my Axiom AR8 ELITE machine will not home?
    • M
      Martin JordanSep 4, 2025
If the machine will not home, it might be because the limit switches are damaged, disconnected, or misadjusted. Inspect the limit switches and correct the problem.
