Windscreen aerial mounting
Aerial should be mounted on passenger side of
windscreen.
It should not interfere with windscreen wipers (see
diagram on right).
Aerial should be mountedas far as possible on to
ceramic black strip on windscreen (diagram right). This
may involve detaching side windscreen covering.
Aerial wire should not be mounted either on metallised
windscreens or in the vicinity of sun visor strips,
otherwise reception will be severely compromised!
Distance between aerial and sun visor strips on upper
windscreen must be at least 5 mm.
Rear window aerial mounting
If your vehicle is equipped with metallised windscreen,
aerial must be mounted on rear window.
On rear window similarly aerial should be mounted as
far as possible on ceramic black strip on window
(diagram right).
Aerial wire should not be mounted on individual
heating elements (diagram right).
Aerial wire should be mounted betweenheating
elementson rear window.
