Mounting
IMPORTANT!
Aerial supplied is only for internal vehicle use.
Before aerial is fixed in position, please investigate best position for good reception. To this end
aerial should be attached to windscreen as an experiment e.g. using adhesive tape. If aerial is stuck
to the windscreen, it cannot be removed again, without being destroyed in the process!
Do not install the DAB module near any heat sources!
When connecting or disconnectingaerial, DAB module must be switched off, otherwise this may
cause interruption to live aerial!
Before anchoring aerial, windscreen should be free of dust and grease!
Aerial position must be decided before anchoring. In order to decide best position, vehicle must be
outdoors.
Aerial connector and power cable should be fixed, so as not to interfere with driver.
Aerial connector and power cable should not cross or be fixed to DAB module, but should be kept
straight as far as possible.
DAB210VW is intended for internal use only! It can be installed inside vehicle e.g. behind radio or
glove compartment.
Distance between DAB module
and cables leading to it must be
at least 10 cm!
