Restore:Returnmostsettingstothefactorydefaultvalues.Afterwardsyoumustrecongurethedeviceandapps,reinstallany
appsthatdidn’tcomepreinstalled,andrecreateanyeventsandPTZpresets.

Firmwareupgrade:Upgradetoanewrmwareversion.Newrmwarereleasescancontainimprovedfunctionality,bug
xes,andcompletelynewfeatures.Werecommendyoutoalwaysusethelatestrelease.Todownloadthelatestrelease,go

Whenyouupgrade,youcanchoosebetweenthreeoptions:
•Standardupgrade:Upgradetothenewrmwareversion.
•Factorydefault:Upgradeandreturnallsettingstothefactorydefaultvalues.Whenyouchoosethisoption,youcan’t
reverttothepreviousrmwareversionaftertheupgrade.
•Autorollback:Upgradeandconrmtheupgradewithinthesettime.Ifyoudon’tconrm,thedevicerevertstothe
previousrmwareversion.
Firmwarerollback:Reverttothepreviouslyinstalledrmwareversion.
