TheAVHSsettingsareconguredunderSystemOptions>Network>TCPIP>Basic.ThepossibilitytoconnecttoanAVHSservice
isenabledbydefault.Todisable,cleartheEnableAVHSbox.
One-clickenabled-Pressandholdtheproduct’scontrolbutton(seeHardwareOverviewonpage6)forabout3secondsto
connecttoanAVHSserviceovertheInternet.Onceregistered,AlwayswillbeenabledandtheAxisproductstaysconnectedto
theAVHSservice.Iftheproductisnotregisteredwithin24hoursfromwhenthebuttonispressed,theproductwilldisconnect
fromtheAVHSservice.
Always-TheAxisproductwillconstantlyattempttoconnecttotheAVHSserviceovertheInternet.Onceregisteredtheproductwill
stayconnectedtotheservice.Thisoptioncanbeusedwhentheproductisalreadyinstalledanditisnotconvenienttousethe
one-clickinstallation.

SelectObtainDNSserveraddressviaDHCPtousetheDNSsettingsprovidedbytheDHCPserver.
Tomakemanualsettings,selectUsethefollowingDNSserveraddressandspecifythefollowing:
Domainname-Enterthedomain(s)tosearchforthehostnameusedbytheAxisproduct.Multipledomainscanbeseparatedby
semicolons.Thehostnameisalwaystherstpartofafullyqualieddomainname,forexample,myserveristhehostnameinthe
fullyqualieddomainnamemyserver.mycompany.comwheremycompany.comisthedomainname.
Primary/SecondaryDNSserver-EntertheIPaddressesoftheprimaryandsecondaryDNSservers.ThesecondaryDNSserveris
optionalandwillbeusediftheprimaryisunavailable.
