AXISPTZcamerasaredesignedforlong-lastingoperation.Tominimizetheeffectsofexteriorconditions(forexample,weather
andwear),toavoidproblems,andtokeeptheexpectedoperationlevels(performanceandproductlife),thePTZcamera,and
theoperationofit,willbenetfromregularmaintenance.
Thisdocumentisintendedforbothcustomersandinstallers.Itincludespreventivemaintenanceinstructionsandapreventive
maintenancechecklistthatareeasytofollow.Werecommendusingthedevice’sinstallationguideasareference.SeePreparations
onpage3formoreinformation.

1.Firmwaremaintenance–tasksthatcanbeperformedremotely.
2.Hardwareandinstallationmaintenance–tasksthataffectthephysicalinstallationandmustbeperformedatthecamera
location.
Axisrecommendsthatyoudothesepreventivemaintenancetaskseachyear.Wealsorecommendcooperatingwiththecamera
operatorbefore,during,andaftereachmaintenanceround.
