twists in the seat belt. Also check that
both shoulder and lap belts are securely
fastened in all places.
Adjusting the internal harness
Place your child in the car seat. Put
your childs arms in between the shoulder
straps so that the straps are hanging over
the chest and stomach. Pull the shoulder
straps together and insert the harness
tongues into the crotch buckle. Pull the
harness adjustment strap (5). is will
tighten the harness and the headrest will
automatically slide down to the appropri-
ate height. e headrest must always be
pulled down at least 35 millimetres. is
can be checked by ensuring the indented
horizontal line in the headrest is sitting
behind the seat cover. (See picture A).
Ensure the headrest is in the locked
position by pulling the harness adjust-
ment strap again – in the locked posi-
tion the headrest should not move down
when you pull the strap. If it is not pos-
sible to get the headrest into a locked po-
sition, Duox should instead be used as a
booster seat. (See page 18-19).
To release the harness, push the har-
ness adjustment button and pull both
harness straps, holding just under the
harness pads. Press the red button on the
crotch buckle to disengage.
Never install a child restraint in a passenger seat
where an active airbag is tted
is line should be
hidden by the seat cover
after adjusting harness
