Important to remember
Do not use a child restraint in a seating
position where an active airbag is tted.
If you still wish to install
Duox in this location the airbag must
be disconnected at an authorized service
centre. Some vehicles may be equipped
with a switch which allows you to man-
ually switch the airbag o.
Removing the harness
When using the Duox child restraint
as a booster seat the internal harness
must rst be removed.
You must rst remove the seat’s own
belt. Loosen the shoulder straps
from the T-bar (1) on the back of the
seat and pull the seat belt in the seat.
After this, loosen beltcus on the back
(2). is is done by removing the
two screws (2) and remove the cus.
IMPORTANT! You have to tighten the
screws in the console after this is done.
After this, you can roll up the left and
right belt and hide under the cover.
After taking out of the harness, drag
down the headrest to a height that suits
your child. After you do this, you lock
the headrest with the headrest brake (3)
that sits on top of the headrest in just
the right height so that the belt hits the
child’s breastbone.
