If the bike does not function correctly,
it is essential to check the following points
before taking it back to your dealer:
• The power assistance cuts out at 25 km/h (15,5 mile/h): this is completely normal.
The bike complies with the regulatory requirements covering electric bikes.
• The screen does not turn on: check that the battery is correctly connected.
• The screen displays «low batt»: the battery is not sufficiently charged.
Recharge the battery fully (five hours).
• The screen displays an error message «error5»: the power cable connected
to the motor is not connected properly.
Check that the connector is plugged in correctly.
• The screen is on and the battery is correctly charged but the power assistance
does not cut in when I pedal: check that you have selected
a mode (ECO, NORMAL, SPORT).
• If you carry out all these checks and power assistance still does not cut in,
or if an error message other than “error 5” appears, you must return the bike
to your nearest Decathlon store.
