Step 5.1: Moun ng the steering tube
The steering tube is mounted onto the front frame during this step. The steering
tube is already connected to the rear frame by means of the gear and brake cable.
1. Posi on the steering tube against the front frame as shown in Figure 10.
2. Insert the two M8 bolts into the a achment holes. Screw on and fi rmly
ghten the nuts to the underside. If this is problema c, gently tap the bolt
through the hole with a hammer or the handle of a screwdriver.
Important! Adhere to the correct order for the nut, bolt and washers in order
to secure everything in the best possible way (see detail picture E).
Parts needed:
- Sachet B (2x M8 bolts, 2x M8 lock nuts, 4x M8 washers)
Tools needed:
- Open-end spanner # 13
- Allen key # 5
