Step 5.2: Securing the steering stem
The stem is already inserted into the steering tube, but s ll has to be adjusted and
secured into the correct posi on.
Tip: Only adjust the posi on of the steering stem loosely at this point; you will
determine the defi nite posi on later on during assembly. Also  ghten the
Allen (hex) bolts at the top of the steering tube.
1. Unscrew the Allen (hex) bolt at the top of the steering pin using Allen key # 5
(see Figure 11).
2. Set the steering stem/handlebars to an appropriate posi on.
3. Hand- ghten the stem/handlebars by re ghtening the Allen (hex) bolt at the
top of the steering pin.
