Repeat for the other side
of the base.
Place spring in recessed
pocket.
In the event that the recline
handle was pushed inward
past the retention detents,
a reassembly of the recline
handle and spring will be
necessary.
To re-assemble; stand the base
on end so the front of the base
is facing upward. Press down
on one side to release the
recline foot.
Locate the spring and
recline handle
Feed the release handle
upward toward the release
handle opening and
hold in place.

Release Recline Foot

Stand base upward and press to release recline foot on one side.

Repeat Foot Release

Perform the recline foot release procedure on the opposite side of the base.

Locate Components

Identify the spring and the recline handle for re-installation.

Position Spring

Place the spring into its designated recessed pocket on the base.

Insert Release Handle

Feed the release handle upward into the opening, holding it in place.

Guide Handle Through Opening

Press the release handle through the opening, ensuring correct orientation.

Align Handle for Insertion

Carefully align the handle within the opening for smooth re-engagement.

Snap Handle into Place

Pull handle to snap into place, then push forward and release to secure.

Orient Recline Foot Upward

Rotate the complete recline foot to its upward position.

Attach Recline Foot Fittings

Depress one side of the recline foot and press it into the base fittings.

Complete Foot Attachment

Repeat the attachment procedure for the other side of the recline foot.
