Also, verify the tightness of all terminals at the Modbus module. Alternatively, there may be a fan internal fault. Check the controls user interface for a fan alarm indicating an internal fault. Finally, there could be a control signal issue. Use a meter to check the control voltage at the terminals (-V, 10V, or mA, depending on the control signal) and ensure that a fan speed control signal is being sent to the unit.

Also, check the mechanical makeup valve and float assembly by manually raising and lowering the float. Verify the pump voltage and confirm that the pump operates correctly in Manual Mode. Clean the pump strainer quarterly. Lastly, the water distribution system may be clogged, so clean the spray branches and the nozzles.

Ensure that the conductivity setpoint is at the desired value and that the system is not in manual mode, with all components showing an OSV (out of status value) status of “NO”. Increase the frequency or duration of bleed by adjusting it in either time-based bleed or conductivity-based bleed mode. Also, make sure the drain valve opens and closes 100% in response to the iPilot® Control System.
