The Badger Cordless Line Trimmer is a battery-operated outdoor power tool designed for trimming grass and maintaining lawn edges. It is intended for household use and offers cordless operation for greater mobility and convenience.

Function Description:

The line trimmer operates by spinning a nylon line at high speed to cut grass and weeds. It features an on/off switch with a switch-on inhibit mechanism for safety, preventing accidental starts. The device is designed to be held with both hands for stable operation. It can be used for general mowing and also has an edge cutting function, allowing the trimmer head to be adjusted for precise edge trimming. The telescopic tube allows for height adjustment to suit the user's height, enhancing comfort and control during operation.

Battery Insertion: The rechargeable battery (14) is inserted into the strimmer until the interlock (15) latches, ensuring a secure connection. The battery can only be inserted in one position.

Spool Replacement: The nylon spool (3) can be replaced by pressing the cap claw (2), removing the worn spool, inserting a new spool with the line fed through the hole, and replacing the cap (1). The nylon head uses a single line.

Maintenance Features:

Cleaning: The machine should be thoroughly cleaned after each use, removing grass and dirt. Ventilation openings should also be cleaned. Plastic parts can be cleaned with a wet cloth and a mild detergent. Aggressive detergents or solvents should not be used, and water should not be poured into or sprinkled on the machine.
Storage: The mowing machine should be stored in a dry place, protected from frost, and kept out of reach of children.
Battery Care: Only use specified Badger batteries (LBB202/LBB204) and charger (CGA20US/CGA20US). Prevent unintentional starting by ensuring the switch is off before connecting the battery pack. Disconnect the battery pack before making adjustments or storing the appliance. Do not expose battery packs to fire or excessive temperatures above 130°C (265°F).
Repair Service: For extensive maintenance or repairs, the machine should be taken to a service center. Repairs to electric power tools should only be carried out by a specialized electrician.
Protective Cover: The protective cover (10) is installed by aligning its four pins (1,2,3,4) with the corresponding holes (A, B, C, D) on the spool base drum and securing them with screws (5). This product is only compatible with a nylon spool with line and cannot be fitted with metal or blade attachments.
