If your Badger Basket Trimmer engine won't start, several factors could be the cause. First, ensure the fuel tank isn't empty and is filled with properly mixed fuel. If it is not the case, make sure you have pressed the primer bulb 10 times or until fuel is visible. If the engine is flooded, squeeze the throttle control and pull the starter rope until the engine starts. Old or improperly mixed fuel (over 30 days old) can also prevent starting, so drain the tank and add fresh fuel. A fouled spark plug should be replaced. Finally, check that the choke lever is flipped according to the starting instructions.
