26. AWA does not properly save results,
reporting "Unable to update temp results
table".
a. This was a bug in AWA software v2.2 and earlier. If encountered, the best path to
follow is to update the AWA software to V2.4 or later. This was a bug in Microsoft
C++, and was fixed with all versions of AWA software after 2.2
27. AWA "Enable test id edit" password
has been lost.
a. C:\WINNT\Awa.ini file contains the password settings. Use Windows NT explorer to
navigate to this file, open it, edit the following entries, and save it:
b. TestSetupPSWRD=baker (enter what the new password =)
c. Password=bakerpas (enter a new password =)
d. Note: make sure the file is not set to read only, look at file properties under Windows
NT explorer.
28. AWA does not work properly with
PP30D, even after PP30D operation has
been verified with another AWA or D series
Tester.
a. In almost all cases, this is a problem with the 80-100 AD/IO board, specifically, the
I.C. at U38 replace for effect. This device reads the I/O from the PP30D.
b. The AWA/PP30 interface cable is connected in the wrong polarity, one end is marked
“HOST” the other end is marked ‘PP30”.
