    • R
      Robert JonesAug 13, 2025

Why does the head surge on my Baker Saw when traveling?
    • E

If the head surges when traveling the length of the sawmill, it may be due to loose track chains. Tighten the track chain adjustment bolts until the correct amount of slack is present at the center of the mill to resolve this issue.

Why does the blade overheat on my Baker BP Dominator 3650E Saw?
    • C
      Candace TrevinoAug 20, 2025
If the blade on your Baker Saw overheats, it might be due to excessive pitch build-up, improper tension, or misaligned guides. If there is excessive pitch build up on the blade and the wheels try adding a powder detergent to the lubrication system. Verify proper blade tension and proper blade tracking.

Why will the debarker not activate on my Baker BP Dominator 3650E?
    • A
      amy13Aug 28, 2025
If the debarker on your Baker Saw will not activate, it could be due to a lack of 12VDC being supplied to the debarker, its control solenoid, or the solenoid control circuitry. Open the electrical panel on the dust chute side of the head carriage and check the 15 amp fuse, debarker wires on the terminal strip, and debarker solenoids to see if they are energized.

Why won't the guide arm move on my Baker BP Dominator 3650E Saw?
    • J
      Joy CarterSep 8, 2025
If the guide arm on your Baker Saw will not move in either direction, it could be due to a lack of 12VDC being supplied to the guide arm solenoid or a defective guide arm switch. While holding one multimeter lead on the GA+ terminal and the other on the GA- terminal move the guide arm switch to the left and right.
