HOW TO MAKE YOUR TAMAGOTCHI GROW
Hatch, raise and take care of Tamagotchi Friend! They can grow from baby to adult, and
even get married! This fun, interactive virtual friend will grow and develop differently
depending on how well you take care of it. Once your Tamagotchi egg has hatched, feed it
food when it is hungry, give it medicine when it is sick, potty train it, bathe it and play
games to earn Gotchi points. And “bump” with other Tamagotchis to send text messages,
send gifts and even have your virtual friend go on a playdate! The more you “bump” the
more points and rewards you will earn and the higher your best friend meter will go. Then
use your points to buy meals, snacks and jewelry in the shop or share items with your
friends by giving and receiving gifts.
1. Using a screwdriver, remove the bottom of the
Tamagotchi; place 2 - 1.5v AAA batteries into
Tamagotchi. Replace back and insert screw. Batteries
not included.
2. Press reset button on back.
3. Remove sticker from screen.
4. Set today’s month, date and time.
5. Set your birthday month/date. Your Tamagotchi
might celebrate your birthday.
6. Enter your name (up to 8 letters) by using button (A)
to select and button (B) to confirm. Press (A) while
pressing (C) to go back a letter.
7. After returning to the main screen, you will find 3
eggs. Choose one to hatch by pressing button (A) and
then button (B) to select. Tamagotchi Friend will be
born in approximately one minute.
When your Tamagotchi needs something, it calls you
with a beep and the Attention icon is highlighted. Check
the information icon to see if your Tamagotchi is hungry
or happy because you can play or feed it.

Without selecting an icon, press
button (B) to see time display.
