IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

1. Always use eye protection during operation.

2. WARNING! Use of accessories or an attachment not recommended or sold by the Start Booster’s manufacturer may

result in personal injury and/or damage to the Start Booster.

3. Always carefully handle the jumper cables and use the plugs to connect and disconnect the automatic charger. Never

pull on the cables.

4. Do not recharge the Start Booster with a damaged plug or cord. Replace a damaged cord or plug immediately (see

point 2).

5. The Start Booster may be used in all weather conditions. However, never allow the Start Booster to become heavily

covered, soaked or submerged in water. Do not charge the Start Booster in a wet environment. Never attempt to

charge or boost a frozen battery.

6. Never allow the positive (red) and negative (black) clamps to contact each other or allow them to contact the same

piece of metal or post. Always avoid any short circuit.

7. Do not operate the Start Booster in an explosive environment or near sparks, flames and flammables such as gasoline

etc.

8. Never smoke while operating the Start Booster or near any vehicle battery.

9. Do not attempt to repair a damaged Start Booster yourself. Always have repairs performed by the manufacturer or an

authorized agent. (such attempts will void warranty)

10. Never leave the Start Booster too long without fully recharging it. Severe damage to the internal battery caused by this

neglect is not repairable or covered under warranty.

Function Description:

The primary function of this device is to provide a powerful boost to a vehicle's battery, enabling it to start, especially in situations where the battery is discharged. It can also serve as a portable power supply for various 12V DC accessories, utilizing its cigar lighter socket. Additionally, it can be used to maintain vehicle memory settings when changing a vehicle battery, preventing loss of electronic configurations. The booster is equipped with jumper cables for direct connection to a vehicle battery and a digital LCD voltmeter to display the power level.

Usage Features:

Initial Charging: Before first use, the Start Booster must be charged with the supplied automatic charger for at least 12 hours.
Power Level Check: To check the battery's power level, press and hold the yellow test button for 10 seconds. The voltage will be displayed on the digital LCD voltmeter. If the voltage is below 12.6 V, recharging is necessary.
Charging Methods:
- Automatic Charger: Plug the supplied charger into an AC power outlet and then into the cigar lighter socket on the Start Booster. The charger is fully automatic and can be left connected when the Start Booster is fully charged. All of the automatic charger's LEDs flashing indicates a full charge.
- Vehicle Charging (Cigar Lighter Socket): The Start Booster can be charged through the vehicle's 12V cigar lighter socket using the supplied male-to-male cigar lighter cord. This method requires the vehicle to be running and is not automatic, requiring manual observation of the charging status. Do not leave it connected and charging continuously for more than 4 hours.
Jump Starting a Vehicle:
1. Ensure the vehicle ignition is in the "off" position.
2. Connect the positive (red) clamp to the positive battery terminal.
3. Connect the negative (black) clamp to the negative battery terminal, the engine block, or the vehicle frame (ground).
4. Ensure the Start Booster is stable and cables are clear of moving parts.
5. Plug the red voltage selection connector into the receptacle corresponding to the vehicle's 12V system.
6. Keep clear of the Start Booster and vehicle battery, then attempt to start the vehicle.
7. If the vehicle does not start within 10 seconds, allow the Start Booster to cool down for at least 3 minutes before attempting again.
8. Immediately disconnect the black (negative) clamp, then the red (positive) clamp after the vehicle starts.
Powering Accessories: The 12V cigar lighter socket can be used to power various 12V DC accessories. It has automatic overload protection of 20A.
Memory Saving: Can be used to save vehicle memory when changing a vehicle battery, by connecting it through the cigar lighter socket on the Start Booster and the vehicle (ignition may need to be "ON" for some vehicles).

Maintenance Features:

Regular Recharging: When not in use, recharge the Start Booster at a minimum of every 60 days with the supplied automatic charger. It is recommended to keep it connected to the automatic charger when not in use.
Battery Care: Never leave the Start Booster too long without fully recharging it, as this can cause severe, irreparable damage to the internal battery and void the warranty. Avoid charging or boosting a frozen battery.
Clamp Storage: Always store the positive (red) and negative (black) clamps in their specially designed holders when not in use to prevent short circuits and protect the clamps. Use cable holders to store cables neatly.
Voltage Selector Plug: Always ensure the voltage selector plug is not plugged in when not in use (after use).
Safety Inspection: For 12V models, it is recommended to have the Start Booster safety inspected by an authorized agent of the manufacturer every 3 years.
Troubleshooting: The manual provides solutions for common issues such as LEDs not lighting, failure to charge, or inability to start an engine. It advises checking the charger, internal fuses, clamp connections, and the vehicle battery itself.
