How to clean BarAid 500 Dishwasher if dishes are not clean?
    • A
      Annette SpencerAug 10, 2025
If your dishes aren't coming out clean from your BarAid Dishwasher, several factors could be at play. Start by checking if the wash arms are stiff; they should turn easily by hand. If not, remove and thoroughly clean them, ensuring the water outlet to the wash arms is clear. Inspect the wash arm nozzles for clogs, removing the cleaning cap and rinsing until all soil is gone, then replace correctly. Also, check if the coarse strainer is soiled and needs cleaning, or if the fine strainer is obstructed, requiring a soak in vinegar followed by thorough cleaning. Ensure you're using the correct detergent concentration and selecting a program suitable for the level of soiling on your dishes.

Why don't dishes dry properly in my BarAid 500 Dishwasher?
    • M
      matthewsshellyAug 15, 2025
If your dishes or glasses aren't drying properly in your BarAid Dishwasher, it could be due to several reasons. First, check the rinse aid concentration and increase it if it's too low. If dishes are still greasy, the detergent concentration might be too low, or you may need a stronger detergent. Make sure to drain the soiled water, refill the machine, and check your pre-scrapping procedure. Ensure you are using appropriate racks that allow water to drain away from cavities. Finally, try to take out the dishes as soon as the cycle is completed to enable them to dry.

What to do if there are stripes and stains on dishes or glasses in BarAid Dishwasher?
    • L
      Laura Ramirez MDAug 20, 2025
If you notice stripes and stains on your dishes or glasses after using your BarAid Dishwasher, several factors could be responsible. First, check the rinse aid concentration; if it's too high, reduce the quantity. Hard water or high mineral content can also cause this issue, so check your water quality. The ideal degree of hardness is 4° Clark, and the ideal conductivity value is max. 150 µS/cm for glasses and max. 400 µS/cm for dishes. Also, make sure you are using appropriate racks. If you have a machine with a softener, ensure you are using only granular regeneration salt. Additionally, ensure that the rinse aid concentration is sufficient.

Why does my BarAid Dishwasher suddenly stop during the wash program?
    • L
      Lisa RoseAug 26, 2025
Your BarAid Dishwasher might suddenly stop during a wash program due to a couple of reasons. It could be connected to a "maximum power supply unit" that's cutting out, or it might be interlocked with another energy-consuming unit. In this case, connect the machine separately (call electrician). Another possibility is a blown site fuse, so check your site fuses.

Why are glasses cloudy after washing in my BarAid Dishwasher?
    • K
      Kelly AcevedoSep 4, 2025
If your glasses are totally or partially cloudy after being washed in your BarAid Dishwasher, it may be due to the surface of the glasses being rough and porous, a condition known as glass corrosion. This issue isn't caused by a malfunction of the machine itself. Consider replacing the affected glasses.
