This guide will describe how to create a bootable USB Flash Drive to update the Operating System of your
BARTEC tablets.
(1) Only install Operating Systems which are provided from BARTEC. Installing an Operating
System that is not designed for a BARTEC device may not work correctly with them.
(2) Using the Format and Rufus utility will delete all data currently on the USB flash drive.
(3) Make sure that PC, Notebook or Tablet (referred to in the following as the “computer”) is running
on AC Power during the preparation process. Do not unplug the AC Adapter, or any other
connected external devices during the process. Do not restart or turn off the computer during the
process as it may cause permanent damage to the file system structure of the USB Flash Drive.
