- Cut sausage skin lengthwise a few times to prevent bursting.

Maintenance Features:
- Regular Cleaning: Thorough cleaning is recommended after every use.
- Cool-Down Period: Allow at least 15 minutes for the appliance to cool down before cleaning.
- Drip Tray and Grill Rack Cleaning:
- Remove excess oil from the grid with kitchen paper.
- Lift the grid using its handgrips.
- Slide out the drip tray (it only slides out one way).
- Remove excess oil from the drip tray with kitchen paper.
- Soak the grid and drip tray in hot water with washing-up liquid for five minutes or drizzle lemon juice to loosen caked food/grease.
- Clean both the grid and drip tray with a soft cloth or sponge in hot water with washing-up liquid, or in the dishwasher.
- Non-Stick Coating Care: Do not use metal utensils or abrasive cleaning materials on the grill grid or grease tray to preserve the non-stick coating.
- Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the outside of the grill with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or harsh pads, and never immerse the grill in water.
- Storage: Reassemble the appliance after cleaning and store it away.
