Before the First Use
1. Before use, clean the appliance, observing instructions in section 6 “Cleaning”.
2. Insert the grease collection tray at the front of the appliance, under the grill
plate.
3. Before the first use, heat the open appliance up without grilled products for
approx. an hour with temperature set to 180°C – 200°C. Observe indications in
the “Switching on” section.
Due to post-production residues, there may be a smoke produced during heating
up. This is, however, no threat to users and is not a sign of any defect of the
appliance. Smoke will not be emitted during the next use. Ensure proper ventilation
during first heating-up.
4. Moisten the grill plates with food oil three or four times.

• Setzen Sie de n Schaltkasten mit Heizelement vorsichtig auf d en hinteren Rand des Gerätes. Sworzeń w d olnej części s krzynki rozdzielczej musi wcho dzić w otwór w urz ądzeniu głó wnym. Dann ist der Schalt kasten richtig positio niert.
Switching-On
1. Connect the appliance to a single grounded socket.
The green operation indicator light will come on.
2. Set the desired temperature with the temperature control knob.
As soon as the temperature controller is rotated to the selected setting, the red
heating-up indicator light comes on.
The temperature may be set within the range from 50°C to 300°C.
We recommend to select the maximum temperature in the range of 200°C – 250°C.
The appliance needs about 10 minutes to reach the temperature of 250°C after it is
switched on.
The red heating-up indicator light goes off after the set temperature has been
reached. When the temperature drops by approx. 10°C, the heating is switched on
again and the red heating-up control light comes on again.
