5.2 Installation and connection
Discard the complete packing material after unpacking the device.
Place the device on top of an even and safe surface which supports the weight of
the device.
Choose a surface where the ice cube maker is not exposed to direct sunlight, or
close to a direct source of heat such as a cooker, oven or radiator.
Make sure that there is at least 15 cm distance between the back and the sides of
the device and the wall or other objects.
Let the cooling agent settle for an hour. Only then plug in the device.
If the ice cube maker is kept outside during the winter and then taken inside for use,
please let it warm up to room temperature before plugging it in.
The electrical circuit in the socket must be secured to at least 16A. Only connect the
device directly to the wall socket; do not use any extension cords or power strips.
Place the device so that the plug is easily accessible and can be quickly removed
from its socket in case of necessity.
5.3 Operating
Wipe down the outside and the inside of the device with a soft cloth and warm water.
Remove the ice cube basket and clean it.
Connect the device to an earthed single wall outlet.
Select the size of the ice cubes by pressing (S = small ; M = medium ;
L = large ). The preset setting stays active until you make a different selection.
The standard setting is M (medium).
If the room temperature exceeds 16° C, we recommen d selecting size S (small) or
M (medium) to prevent the ice cubes from sticking together.
Open the cover, remove the ice cube basket and fill water into the water container to
just below the marking.
Press on the control panel to start the production process.
The water is pumped from the water tank to the water dish (approx. 40 sec.).
Ice cubes form on the 12 vaporizers (6 to 14 minutes).
