Checking tyre pressure:  
Make  sure  the  tyre  pressure  is  as  recommended  for  each  model  and  that  there  are  no 
irregularities on the surface.  
Cleaning the Batec: 
Clean the frame with soap and warm water. Use car soap or another non-abrasive cleaning 
agent. Dry it carefully. Never use a pressure washer to clean it. 
 
Sand and salt water can damage some parts of the Batec after 
prolonged contact. Clean it after use in these conditions. 
 
Cleaning front and rear wheels: 
Make sure the front wheel and rear wheels turn freely and eliminate any dirt.  
Tightening screws:  
Make sure all  the  screws  and connections are tight.  The recommended  tightness for  the 
screws is:  
•  M5 screws: 5 Nm 
•  M6 screws: 8 Nm 
•  M8 screws: 18 Nm
