• Only use accessories approved by Batec Mobility. Check www.batec-
mobility.com.
• NEVER use your Batec with a child on your lap, as there is a high risk of
getting fingers stuck in the chains (for BATEC MANUAL and BATEC HYBRID)
and of tipping over in sharp turns (in all cases).
• The following manoeuvres are not allowed:
- Riding up or down stairs or staircases.
- Riding at an angle on the pavement.
- 180º turns on steep hills.
- Sharp movements.
- Sharp braking on a curve.
2.3. GENERAL PRECAUTIONS
• Take your Batec to a distributor or technical service provider authorised by
Batec Mobility regularly for servicing.
• Avoid contact or proximity to fire, particularly lit cigarettes.
• If the Batec is exposed to direct sunlight or low temperatures for an
extended period of time, the Batec pieces may overheat (>41° C) or
become too cold (<0°).
• Only use our charger to charge the battery.
• If you don’t use your Batec for an extended period of time, make sure the
battery is fully charged and recharge it every 2 months to avoid damage
caused by “deep discharge”.
• Keep the Batec out of the reach of children when not under adult
supervision.
• Do not open the battery, as there is a risk of explosion and/or fire.
