Only use accessories approved by Batec Mobility. Check www.batec-
mobility.com.
NEVER use your Batec with a child on your lap, as there is a high risk of
getting fingers stuck in the chains (for BATEC MANUAL and BATEC HYBRID)
and of tipping over in sharp turns (in all cases).
The following manoeuvres are not allowed:
- Riding up or down stairs or staircases.
- Riding at an angle on the pavement.
- 180º turns on steep hills.
- Sharp movements.
- Sharp braking on a curve.
2.3. GENERAL PRECAUTIONS
Take your Batec to a distributor or technical service provider authorised by
Batec Mobility regularly for servicing.
Avoid contact or proximity to fire, particularly lit cigarettes.
If the Batec is exposed to direct sunlight or low temperatures for an
extended period of time, the Batec pieces may overheat (>41° C) or
become too cold (<0°).
Only use our charger to charge the battery.
If you don’t use your Batec for an extended period of time, make sure the
battery is fully charged and recharge it every 2 months to avoid damage
caused by “deep discharge”.
Keep the Batec out of the reach of children when not under adult
supervision.
Do not open the battery, as there is a risk of explosion and/or fire.
